We all dive crew from SDQ Lembeh Dive
Resort, Would like to thank you to all divers
/ guests who ever stay with us on Lembeh island.
We do appriciate all your comments / pictures,
and we do hope someday will see you again. |

Although many of the critters we saw in Lembeh this
time were different from the ones we saw there a few
years ago, the diving is still as good as we remembered
and we will return again as soon as we can. A big
THANK U to all the guides at SDQ. For our group of
4 photographers they managed to continually find critters
to photograph so that throughout the dive we were
busy taking pictures, never having to wait for each
other, never having time to look for ourselves. This
is not an easy task and it is thanks to them that
our dives in Lembeh were among the best ever.

Hallo Everybody,
We had again an excellent time in Lembeh at SDQ. Since
six years now Lembeh is our holiday destination. After
more than 250 dives in Lembeh, we can still say that
every dive is full of surprises and new critters.
This area is unique and its marine biodiversity is
bottomless. Lembeh is for sure a world class dive
destination ( especially for macro diving ) and we
hope for many years to come. Special thanks to the
dive team, with the divemasters of SDQ you can be
sure to see the BEST Lembeh has to offer. We will
be back very soon!

To
everyone at SDQ Lembeh,
I just wanted to say thank you for a wonderful two
weeks in Lembeh Strait. I can’t wait to come
back for a second encounter. The staff is great, I
feel like I have left some great kawan (friends) in
Sulawesi. I’m sure they will be there when I
come back. The diving is incredible. I had the opportunity
to photograph so many species
that I had never even seen before: pygmy seahorses,
clown frogfish, hairy frogfish, wonderpus, and nudibranches
galore. My favorite dive is Jahir 1 with its mimic
octopus and blue ring octopus. Everybody did a great
job making sure that I had a
good trip. I had an awesome trip. I’ll be seeing
you guys soon.

I came back from Lembeh Strait, Indonesia for excellent
muck diving in Aug. We're lucky to see 2 species
of Rhinopias,
bubble shell, weedy pigmy seahorse(Hippocampus
Pontohi), halimeda ghost pipefish, mimic and coconut
octopus, etc. Everyone enjoyed muck diving especially
night dive for more strange marine creatures. After
checking with marine biologist, the purple one is
not Lacy scorpian fish - its common name should
be
Paddle Flap scorpian fish (rhinopias eschemeyeri).
The
red one is weedy scorpian fish (rhinopias frondosa).
Lacy
scorpian fisih (rhinopias aphanes) in PNG - this
species is often mistaken in Indonesia for rhinopias
frondosa.
Dear
Anky,
I've already sent you my new album. Pls forward
to all SDQ divemasters for sharing my diving experience
in Lembeh. Your dive team and boat crews DID
AN EXCELLENT job to assist all of us during
our diving activity. Tks again for their patience
and assistance.
Enjoy
!

My personal experience diving with SDQ is SUPERB. Rudy has done
a great job showing us all we can see in Lembeh (this compensate
for our slight disappointment in Bunaken). I show my other diver
friends what we saw and everyone went "wow, you guys are so
lucky". I guess luck is shining on us throughout that 8 days
with SDQ... but of course Rudy's "EAGLE EYES" played a great
part. The cook at the resort has been really nice fixing our
"special order" (instant noodle). Please pass on our gratitude.
The rest of the stuff were extremely helpful with whatever we
need, including Anky and Luis and Nan. I will recommend more
friends to come by and you will see me again for sure. Keep
up with the good work.

Friendly Staff, so cooperative weather and the underwater life
( critters paradise for underwater photography ) made me this
trip a memorable and exciting one.
Many Thanks to Johan and Johny who be my dive guides. Those
little critters, especially that Pygme Sea Horse are amazing
to capture on film. Thanks again, by Alex and Selena.
